January Update!

Jonn is graduating from University of Phoenix with his BS in Information Technology. After two years of online courses that have taken up a lot of Jonn’s extra time he is finally done!! I am so proud of him, he aced almost all of his classes and has been an inspiration to me in how dedicated he is to his work and how patient he has been with his class mates. Not only has Jonn sacrificed his time but also a special parent has scarified their income for Jonn to be able to accomplish this goal and we are forever grateful. Now onto the next part of our journey and that is….
We are going to put the house up on the market for sure this April 1st! And we are praying for the right person to sell our house and that perfect God picked person to come along with the perfect offer. We have held off moving due to the market crashing and with Jonn being in school, it would have been too stressful to move with him needing to be online each day for class. But now that he is done I can put him to work and start packing this house up!!
The new addition to the family this fall has been our little Carmel. We tried breeding Cricket the past year and a half unsuccessfully and after a couple of opinions from different vets we decided stop trying. The breeder that I had taken her to had a couple of babies, but the one I like the most, Carmel, was unavailable because someone else had spoken for her. So we turned down all of the babies in hopes that with next years crop would have better options. A couple of months later I went back on the breeder’s web site to find Carmel available again. We went to look at her and the rest is history. We love her she is so calm and easy going and other than fighting Rain Rot on her back and Thrush in her feet, she is a healthy little filly.
Talking about horses, Jonn and I just came back from a trip down to Georgia. We flew into Atlanta, drove up to historic Chattanooga, TN and spent a day touring Ruby Falls and Rock City. Then we cruised over to beautiful Dahlonega, GA for three nights were Becca attended a Natural Horse Trimming Clinic with Todd Jaynes, which really was the main purpose of the trip. It was at this clinic that Becca realized how much she didn’t know about my horse and how much she would like to know to help other people with horses.
Until Next Time:-)

I am so proud of you Jonn, so thankful to that special parent, and so excited about Becca’s new direction. When will you put the house on the market?
